Registration

How do I sign up on the Shatterproof Volunteer Portal?  

  • Head to shatterproof.galaxydigital.com and click Sign Up to Volunteer. From there, you’ll create your account with a valid, unique email address (one not previously used with Galaxy).  
  • TIP: You can also register using Facebook – it's quick and pulls some of your info automatically!

Do I need an account to sign up for volunteer opportunities?  

  • Yes! You’ll need to log in or create an account before responding to any opportunity. If you’re not logged in, a pop-up will prompt you to do so, and then you’ll be directed back to the opportunity page. 

Do I need to sign up to volunteer with Shatterproof? 

  • Yes! Signing up helps us stay organized and ensures we know who to expect on event day or for any other volunteer opportunity. It also allows us to keep you updated with important details and next steps.

Logging In

How do I log in?  

Forgot your password?  

  • No problem. Click Forgot Password on the login page, enter your email, and we’ll send you a reset link.  

Finding Opportunities

Where can I find volunteer opportunities?  

  • Your Volunteer Engagement contact may share links with you, or you can browse all available opportunities by clicking Opportunities in the portal’s left-hand menu.  

Can I search for specific types of volunteer roles?  

  • Yes! Use filters like location, skills, event type, and more to narrow down options that fit your interests. Filtering by distance is the easiest way to find what’s near you.  

Why do I see opportunities in other states or regions?  

  • Shatterproof operations nationally, so you’ll see all open opportunities unless you filter by location. Use the distance filter to find local options. Need help? Reach out – we'll point you in the right direction! 

How do I sign up for a volunteer shift? 

  • From the event or opportunity page, scroll to view all available roles or shifts. Click the one you’re interested in and follow the prompts to confirm your spot.  

What if I don’t see anything that fits my interests?  

  • No worries! We’re always developing new ways to get involved beyond what’s listed in the portal. Visit our Get Involved page or email volunteer@shatterproof.org - we’ll help you find the right fit.  

Tracking Your Involvement

How do I log my volunteer hours? 

  • After your shift, log in and click Add Hours at the top of your dashboard – or use the check-in kiosk when available! 

Can I view or print my volunteer history?  

  • Absolutely. You can download a summary of your volunteer hours, or create a personalized resume showing your impact over time (complete with charts!). Head to the Hours tab in your dashboard to explore this feature.

How do I stop receiving emails?  

  • If you’d like to unsubscribe from messages:  
    • Click the Unsubscribe link in any email you receive from us.
    • Or, go to your profile settings in the portal and update your communication preferences. 

Please note: If you’re signed up for a shift, we may still email you important updates about your role or event details.
