Community Engagement Champions

Shatterproof is a national nonprofit organization dedicated to reversing the addiction crisis in the United States. By getting involved, you can help end the addiction crisis in America. Together we are unstoppable.

Shatterproof Community Engagement Champions will be provided opportunities to make a difference in their local area! We believe in the power of community and the importance of providing support and resources to those affected by addiction. The Community Engagement Champions play a crucial role in our mission, engaging with communities across the country through various events and initiatives. 

Privacy & Training: Some opportunities are kept private due to the need for higher-level volunteers who have undergone training. If interested in becoming a Community Engagement Champion, please email volunteer@shatterproof.org.

Through our Community Engagement Champion opportunities, volunteers can participate in health fairs, community resource fairs, sporting events, Create Your Own Fundraiser events, and more! These volunteers help by tabling, distributing materials, answering questions, and connecting individuals with the resources they need. Occasionally, they may be asked share a few words about our mission by speaking at event. This flexible, opportunity-based program allows volunteers to make a meaningful impact in their local communities while supporting our overarching mission.

• Preparation Support: Volunteers will be provided with all necessary materials and preparation to ensure they succeed in their roles.
• Opportunity Availability: The number of available opportunities may vary throughout the year depending on ongoing activities and events. 
• Empowerment: If you find events in your community that you want to engage in (Health fairs, community resource fairs, school awareness, etc.), feel empowered to attend. Our volunteer team can support you with training and materials - just reach out.
