Volunteer: DC - Event Support Team

Our all-hands-on-deck crew! These volunteers help wherever needed throughout the event - making sure the event runs smoothly from start to finish. If you're flexible, up for anything, and enjoy jumping in where help is needed most, this is the role for you. You may be asked to:

Assist with event set-up or tear-down, including signage, decor, and moving supplies. Support with trash pickup and restroom checks (all supplies will be provided).Restock water and ice at hydration stationsPass out mission bracelets and float between areas to help with last-minute needs. Fill in for other volunteers or tasks as directed by staff.

Note: Some lifting may be required, but accessible tasks will be available for all abilities.

Help kick off the day by setting the stage for our event! Site Set Up Volunteers assist with unloading trucks, distributing supplies to various tents, placing signage, and decorating tents and tables. Light lifting may be involved, but accessible tasks will be available for all abilities.

Note: This is a short shift, so we highly recommend signing up for an additional position afterward. You can choose any role starting after 7:45 AM. While there’s a slight time overlap, you’ll be able to smoothly transition and jump right into your next task.
