We're excited to have volunteers join us at the 13th Annual Shatterproof Classic - a high-energy, all-day event bringing together supporters for golf, tennis, pickleball, cards, and a reception. Volunteers play a vital role in creating a seamless and meaningful experience for participants while advancing Shatterproof’s mission.

This is a full-day event with multiple shifts and a variety of roles to fit different interests, skills, and schedules. Whether you’re greeting guests, supporting check-in, assisting with activities, or helping behind the scenes, your time makes a direct impact.

Keep everyone fueled and hydrated! This team helps set up and take down the food and beverage area, lays out snacks and drinks, and coffee (if needed). You’ll help maintain a clean and welcoming space for everyone to enjoy.

Welcome participants to create a special memento honoring a lost loved one. Assist with photo and lanyard distribution and guide guests to the “Remembering With You” tent to display their tribute.

Be the first friendly face participants meet! Help with checking in, registering in the app, distributing incentives, or assisting with t-shirt purchases. You’ll also answer questions and help guide people to the right places at the event.

Capture the day’s magic! Use your own phone or camera to take photos of team moments, start/finish lines, the resource village, and the overall event. We’ll share a shot list, and we ask that you send us your photos within 2 weeks. You don’t need to be a pro, just someone with a good eye and an eagerness to help us tell the story!

Offer a safe and supportive space for participants grieving a loss. Guide them through lighting a candle, leaving a message, or adding a photo to a collage. Hand them a flower if they’d like one.

Swag Volunteers staff the Shatterproof Swag tent, help attendees make donations through our website, and distribute swag based on donation levels. Help kick off the day by setting the stage for our event! Site Set Up Volunteers assist with unloading trucks, distributing supplies to various tents, placing signage, and decorating tents and tables. Light lifting may be involved, but accessible tasks will be available for all abilities.

Shatterproof's Treatment Atlas is launching in Virginia in Fall 2026, expanding access to transparent, evidence-based information about substance use treatment. We’re looking for Mobilizers to help raise awareness and distribute Treatment Atlas resources through trusted community networks.
