Who We Are
The Love People Loudly Day Proclamation Initiative is a volunteer-led effort that helps bring Shatterproof's mission into communities across the country through awareness, advocacy, and local leadership.
On September 13, Shatterproof will celebrate its 13th anniversary with the inaugural Love People Loudly Day, a national movement encouraging individuals, families, organizations, workplaces, schools, and communities to choose compassion over stigma and remind those impacted by addiction that they are loved and supported.
One way volunteers can help bring this movement to life is by encouraging city, county, and state leaders to officially recognize Love People Loudly Day through proclamations.
What We Do
Through the Love People Loudly Day Proclamation Initiative, volunteers help raise awareness about addiction, recovery, and stigma reduction in their local communities.
Volunteers may:
- Request proclamations from local, county, or state officials
- Build relationships with community and government leaders
- Promote awareness and compassion through local engagement
- Encourage community participation in Love People Loudly Day
- Share stories and successes that inspire others to get involved
