Awareness & Recovery in Action empowers volunteers to turn awareness into action during International Overdose Awareness Day (8/31) and National Recovery Month (September). We encourage community members across the country to engage in local events and activities that honor lives lost, celebrate recovery, reduce stigma, and promote overdose prevention.
If you're wanting to see what's going on in your community, sign up here and then search for recovery-focused or overdose awareness events happening in your community and represent Shatterproof by attending, learning, and connecting with others.
